Project Overview: You are going to learn how to make online posters that you can use to advertise for a business, or a party or to tell a story.
In our class you will be receiving a project grade because your poster will correlate with the short story you wrote or one of the stories that we have read. You MUST choose one of the poster topics below, you cannot do your own idea for this project. You must follow the Step-by-Step process, & you must include all items on the checklist to get a good grade.
Poster Project Options
1. Create a poster that advertises your most valued possession. Pretend you lost it and you are trying to recover it. Include many details.
2. Create a Poster that encourages people to read the story "Every Day Use." You can include info about the author, the plot, pictures etc...

Step-by-Step Process
1. Go to www.smore.com
2. Click “Try it Now”
3. Login using your
class Gmail, use the same password too.
4. Click Start a New Flyer
5. Select the template that you like for your flyer.
6. Create your flyer. Use the checklist below to get an A!
_______Include 3 pictures
_______Include a title
_______Include a 100-200 word description
_______Choose a special design
_______Include a Subtitle
_______Choose a special font.
_______Customize the color
_______embed your flyer on to your blog
7. Select embed
8. Copy the embed code.
9. Go to your blog
10. Select new post
11. Hit the button titled HTML
12. Paste the embed code
13. Hit publish
14 View your blog to make sure that the poster was published.
