Rodney Mullen is a very experience skateboarder . He teaches everybody how to do all these cool stunts . It took Rodney a lot of practice to learn all these different tricks . Rodney is a very talented man that knows how to skateboard . Rodney is now 45 years and still continuing to skateboard this is his life .A lot of people wasn't born with the talent like Rodney was he was a lucky person you could say.
ReplyDeleteI think it was very interesting. Even though Rodney Mullen was atheistic he was still very brilliant, but my attention was more focused on him talking about skateboarding mostly. Anyway i never thought there was a 46 or about to be 46 year old man who still skateboard.
ReplyDeleteRodney Mullen was an professional skateboarder. he was the godfather of skateboarding because he was that good. Rodney invented some of these:Front side heel flip shove-it, Backside 180 flip Kick flip under flip and many more. every time he skate boards, he always film it to show people his inventions and how a good skateboarder he is.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite video out of Ted talks was the Rodney Mullen skate boarding video. The reason why i say this is one of my favorites out of the 3 is because he is just simply amazing to me he's like a walking genius. It just amazes me that most of the skate boarding tricks that are most common in this activity was invented by him. Rodney has a good vibe to him and he doesn't do it necessarily for money or for fame he does it for inventing things just for the hell of it for the passion and the joy he gets out of it, and thats inspiring to me for what i want to do in the future <3 :3
ReplyDeleteThis video is very inspiring because Rodney Mullen inspired people that if you find something that you like and that your good at why not try and do it. In spite of his disorder he did not let that stop him from doing what he did best which was skateboarding. When Rodney was younger his motivation was younger kids, he used to watch them do different tricks and he was interested so what he did was practice and practice until he got better now he is one of the best skateboarders. Rodney Mullen liked skateboarding so much that when he injured his knee the next day he was back on his feet.
ReplyDeleteThis video was more than just Rodney Mullen preaching about skateboarding, it was him preaching about life and the sentimental value of creating something that you hold dear to not just yourself but to everyone around you. I thank Rodney Mullen for being the father of skateboarding
ReplyDeleteMy favorite video in Ted talks is Rodney Mullen , he is very talented and is one of the best skate boarders I have seen yet , he is very inspiring he injured.his knee and he was still skate boarding after that , he teaches teens and young kids to to never give up on some we thing that you love that much .

ReplyDeleteRodney Mullen is a dope skater. He has a lot of experience and made up most of the skateboarding tricks that are performed now and days. Rodney is a smart guy but look likes he had a little mental problem.

ReplyDeleteJoshua Prager he was in an accident and ended up disabled and what i admired of him in that that short time is that he didn't feel depressed for himself. Though he met the man who caused the accident he saw that he was selfish and didn't care about anyone but himself and i really like that about him
ReplyDeleteJoshua Prager he is a very unselfish man because of the way he thinks about life . He was in a car accident and got hurt very bad . He has looked for the guy who hit him . What I learned from Joshua Prager is to accept the future not to dwell on the past
ReplyDeleteJoshua Prager has a interesting take on life. He say every one suppress or make sense of event that happen so they can cope with life. The man that hit him had no remorse. It feel like he doesn't want to understand what he did especially after his comment on how they should be stricter on bad drivers. That one comment on makes you wonder do he actually realize what he did.

ReplyDeletei like Rodney Mullen cause he is at lest 40 and he love to do and make new tricks when he skates. Also he was skating for a long time and he had a contract and when lost it he has not stop skating.
ReplyDeleteRodney Mullen is an very exciting man. He had an great child hood, skateboarding is an great thing to learn. He can teach people lots of things about skateboarding. He should never stop skateboarding he's excellent at it!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteRodney Mullen never gave up when he knew was not that good versus the new generation of skateboarding. He tried to be competitive with the new tricks of the new generation which were a bit harder and dangerous. It motivate me because teaches if you love something, keep trying until you get better. Even when other people would laugh at him he kept trying until he gets the new trick of skateboarding. And the most impressive is he did it for fun and not for money. And by the time he got better, and now he is speaking in public his experiencing with the skateboard.
ReplyDeleteRodney Mullen he's not just some skater guy he's an inspiration to people to who feel like they don't belong-which we all feel sometimes in our lives, but like he said there's that one thing that separates you from the crowd and it's whatever it is you feel like you don't even feel like you have to try to feel good you just do because it's what you love to do.He was a good skater but in today's time new skate moves are flowing in so after his knee surgery he thought to him self he has do those skate moves. That keeps him moving is the joy he gets out of it. It's not about the awards or the fame or the girls it's the joy and happiness you feel when having fun.
