“two friends trying to stop the people from following a dictator” I think that the modern day still appreciates Shakespeare, because of his large variety of themes. Also his relevant because people can still relate to his stories, about comedy, drama, love etc. His characters have positive and negative emotions and feeling, which attracts a reader. His language and description of the theme is very powerful and compelling.
"Two patriotic citizens try to relieve their country from possible dictatorship." Yes people in the modern would still appreciate Shakespeare's themes basically because the world evolves around these themes therefore more people can relate and learn valuable lessons. Different cultural groups value these themes differently therefore they either reward or punish depending on their moral views.
