Notes

Making inferences/ Inferring = Drawing Conclusions = Using past knowledge with clues from the text to understand what is really going on in a story.

Just like drawing conclusions when you make inferences you read between the lines.

To begin to infer ask yourself who? what? when? where? & WHY?

Characterization

3. A character might be sad, angry, happy, ambitious, quiet, passive-aggressive, immature, a bully, a daughter, a boxer, a spoiled rich girl, a young athlete, etc.........
